This Oval mortice/rim knob is part of the Anvil Blacksmith range. Each one is supplied with a loose collar to allow them to be fitted flushed to the door or can alternatively be used in conjunction with a rim lock.

Suitable for use with a multitude of heavy-duty locks, latches, and thumb turns for various purposes.

The strength of the spring found in a heavy-duty lock/latch will ensure the knob returns to its original position. We would recommend using a 3″, 4″, or 5″ latch/lock.

Complete with 2 x Oval Escutcheons and matching SS wood screws.

The External Beeswax finish is a signature of From The Anvil and is manufactured using their unique anti-corrosive beeswax. Much like our standard Beeswax, it offers a matt richness with a depth of colour, ranging from blue to deep ochre red. This natural finish is a far softer alternative to black powder coating. Although this finish already offers a very strong barrier against environmental conditions, we recommend re-applying a small amount of Maintenance Wax periodically with a cloth or brush which provides additional protection to the surface of your product and further protects this from any harmful external elements.

Regular oiling of all moving parts using  ‘3-in-1’ oil is beneficial to the longevity of products. This process is also highly recommended during initial installation. For accompanying internal products, we recommend our beeswax finish.
