Vintage bisque fired jointed doll in Sailor Suit & Hat – 15cm

Vintage bisque fired jointed doll.

Measures 15cm tall Approx.

Dressed in a sailor suit with hat and in great condition.

Has some light marks from age. It is able to sit without support. Legs and arms are jointed through metal bands on the inside. When held, the legs and arm loosely dangle – all limbs move independently.

Eyes are painted black, rosy cheeks, and orange-y red lips as well as light blonde hair. The skin and bathing suit/sailor suit are the same white tone, but the details of the suit are painted pale blue. Shoes are painted a light brown with laces painted black

On purchase we were told it was French in origin but this cannot be verified
