Fitting Instructions – P7 Crossbar Included
- Ensure a qualified electrician carries out the installation.
- Switch off the electricity supply at the mains before beginning installation.
- Remove the existing ceiling rose and securely install the supplied crossbar.
- Thread the cable through the new ceiling plate, then complete the terminal connections using a suitable connecting block (not supplied).
- Once you complete the connections, lift the ceiling plate into position and secure it using the side screws and crossbar. Existing screws from the previous fitting may prove suitable. However, if you are fixing into masonry or concrete, use appropriate wall plugs.
Please note: We do not supply screws, as the correct type and length will depend on your ceiling construction and installation method.
- Use LED GU10 lamps only to help prevent overheating. Please refer to the lamp manufacturer’s guidance for compatibility details.
Care Instructions
To clean the fitting, use a soft dry cloth. In addition, you may use a suitable glass cleaner for stubborn marks on glass surfaces. Avoid abrasive cleaning products on the metal finish.
For safety and peace of mind, always use a qualified electrician for installation.
