This is the last remaining stock from a batch that was hand cast for us in Shropshire, making it an increasingly difficult design to replace once sold.

Installation

The Rose Brass Door Knocker fixes securely through the door using a threaded bar and brass nut. Simply trim the threaded bar to suit the thickness of your door before tightening it into place. Afterwards, cover the fixing with wax or paint to create a neat finish on the inside of the door.

Unlacquered Brass Finish

Because this door knocker is crafted from solid unlacquered brass, it will naturally develop a rich patina over time. Many homeowners appreciate this living finish because it enhances the character of traditional properties. However, if you prefer a brighter appearance, occasional polishing will maintain the brass’s warm golden shine.
