A keep is the essential receiving part that fixes to, or into, the door frame and works together with rim locks and rim latches to hold a door securely closed. It is often the piece that has been lost or left behind over time, especially in older properties.

This useful selection of four different cast iron keep designs provides practical replacements for original rim lock and rim latch installations. Made from solid cast iron, each keep offers strength, durability, and a traditional appearance well suited to period homes and restoration projects.

Supplied individually with wood screws however you may need to find alternative screws appropriate for your door frame and installation.

• Keep 3: approx. 20 mm wide × 100 mm long × 25 mm high
