Reclaimed Bakelite Door Knobs – Art Deco – Mottled Brown

A stunning pair of reclaimed Art Deco Bakelite door  knobs. Featuring a hexagonal knob and geometric backplate, in mottled brown bakelite.

The hexagon design of these reclaimed bakelite door knobs offers a good grip with added leverage because of the shape making it easy to turn. These knobs are unsprung and have loose backplates making them suitable for both rim and mortice locks or latches.

Made in England, with the No 1151 on the backplates.

This is a one off individual pair and sadly non-repeatable. Perfect for a restoration project and priced accordingly, these have not been cleaned and as such will need some TLC to restore them to their original glory. They are in full working order with grub screw and locking washer to secure them once in situ.
