A pair of vintage-style real Black Bakelite Smooth Oval Door Knobs complete with round back-plates finished in either Antique Satin Brass to suit traditional interiors or Polished Nickel for more contemporary surroundings as well as the period home. The back-plates are made from heavy solid brass and the Antique Satin Brass plates are in an unlacquered finish; so, if required, they can be brightened with metal polish.

The smooth oval Bakelite knob offers a comfortable grip with added leverage (because of the shape) making it easier to turn than round knobs. Complete with 5/16″ spindle so it should fit some old locks as well as new locks. They suit either mortice locks or rim locks. For rim lock use, simply discard one of the two back-plates.

Knob: 60mm x 35mm.
Back-plate: 61mm diameter

Please note: these handles/knobs are unsprung – just like the originals – and so require some help to return them to a horizontal position. You will therefore need to ensure that the latch or lock used has sufficient spring capacity.
