From The Anvil produces the Pewter Patina finish through a specialist ageing process followed by barrel polishing to create its rich colour and distinctive texture. A durable clear matt lacquer then protects the surface while preserving its handcrafted appearance.

Consequently, this low-maintenance finish performs exceptionally well throughout the home, including kitchens, bathrooms and other rooms where moisture levels may be higher. Likewise, occasional cleaning is all that is needed to keep the handle looking its best.

Simply wipe the handle with a soft, lightly oiled cloth from time to time to remove dirt and environmental deposits. However, avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh chemical products, as these may damage the protective lacquer.

Before installation, allow all plaster, paint and timber treatments to cure completely. Otherwise, trapped moisture and construction chemicals may affect the finish.
