Drawn from one piece of mild steel bar bent to form the ring, this door knocker is a true masterpiece of forging. It shows every hammer blow by our highly skilled blacksmiths. It comes complete with a handmade stud or striker and all the fixing screws. This is suitable for external use.

Black Finish – (For Internal or External Use)

A black, durable corrosion resistant finish, it is resistant to moisture and can be used in bathrooms and damp conditions. This finish has been salt tested to 480hours, which meets grade 5 British Standard. Wiping with a lightly oiled cloth from time to time will remove harmful deposits and maintain its original condition.

Warning: The chemicals in wet plaster and wet paint will rust our products. Fit your new ironmongery when  your plaster is fully cured and paint has dried.

Also, we do not recommend using our products in coastal areas as the salt content in the air will rust all finishes. Only 316 marine grade stainless steel will not rust in this sort of environment and therefore our products cannot be guaranteed.
