This These beautiful cottage door knobs are made with ebonised rosewood timber which is turned in a classic beehive design. They are supplied with reeded polished brass backplates and matching SS wood screws. The Cottage collection is part of ‘From The Anvil’ traditional range of sprung lever handles. This timeless design best lends itself to cottages and period dwellings.

Suitable for use with a multitude of heavy-duty locks, latches, and thumb turns for various purposes. The strength of the spring used in our heavy-duty lock/latches will ensure the knob returns to its original position.

PRODUCT FINISH

This ebonised product is manufactured from high-quality rosewood timber, ebonised and coated with a layer of protective wax to enhance the finish whilst the brass backplates give it a traditional feel.

MAINTENANCE & CARE

We recommend regular waxing of your Rosewood Cottage Door Knobs. This should ideally be beeswax, however products like “Pledge” and “Mr Sheen” work well too. Firstly this will help to remove dirt, fingerprints and watermarks and secondly preserve and maintain the lacquer. In turn this will help to prevent any discoloration or drying of the timber reassuringly, waxing also helps to provide a protective barrier against environmental elements.

Regular oiling of all moving parts using a ‘3-in-1 Oil’  is beneficial to the longevity of your products. We highly recommend this process during initial installation.
