This Double Adaptor Kit provides a simple and reliable way to mount your Bakelite Switch and Double Recessed Oak Pattress onto a standard double flush metal wall box. The kit includes a small metal adaptor plate and all the necessary fixing screws for easy installation.
Do I Need an Adaptor Plate?
You will need this adaptor kit if you are fitting one of our Bakelite switches and a Double Recessed Pattress onto an existing wall box. The adaptor plate fixes directly to the wall box, allowing the mounting block to sit securely in place. You simply use the long screws through the pattress and switch to complete the installation.
If you are surface mounting the switch and pattress directly onto a wall or wood panelling, no adaptor plate is required.
