A beautiful pair of decorative solid brass hinges, featuring an ornate scrolling design with attractive shaped ends. Their unusual design makes them particularly suited to period furniture, cupboards, cabinets, boxes or restoration projects where the hinge itself is intended to become a decorative feature.

Made from solid brass, the hinges have an unlacquered finish. This means the brass will naturally darken and develop a rich patina over time. Alternatively, they can be polished occasionally to maintain a brighter appearance.

These are substantial decorative hinges, with each hinge weighing approximately 315g. However, due to their decorative construction and design, we would not describe them as heavy-duty hinges. Please ensure they are suitable for your particular project and the weight of the door or lid before fitting.
