They leave the solid brass unlacquered, so it will gradually develop a rich patina over time. Alternatively, you can polish the brass occasionally if you prefer a brighter golden appearance.

These brackets combine strength with traditional style. They accommodate a 55mm diameter curtain pole, while the threaded beehive boss helps hold the pole securely in position. In addition, the decorative boss neatly disguises the functional fixing, giving the bracket a particularly attractive period appearance.

The makers use solid unlacquered brass, which allows the surface to age naturally. Over time, the brass develops a softer, mellow patina that adds to its traditional character.
