Beeswax Finish & Care

A traditional Beeswax finish to preserve the natural beauty of the forged steel. During the forging process, rich colours develop within the metal, ranging from soft blue tones to deep red ochre. Consequently, every hook has its own distinctive appearance.

The pure beeswax coating enhances the forged texture while providing a subtle matt finish that suits traditional interiors beautifully.

This finish is intended for internal use only. Before installation, ensure all plaster, paint and timber treatments have fully cured, as moisture and construction chemicals may encourage corrosion.

To maintain its appearance, wipe the hook occasionally with a soft cloth and apply a small amount of maintenance beeswax when required. However, avoid abrasive cleaners and prolonged exposure to moisture.

Finally, the Beeswax finish is not suitable for coastal properties or external use, where airborne salt and damp conditions may cause rust.
