Undoubtedly one of the most ornate period toilet roll holders ever made, this was originally produced back in 1884 by the Sanitary Paper Company of Bury Street London.
It featured in the ‘Ironmonger’ periodical of that year, claiming to be the first to use unperforated toilet paper.
Polished unlacquered brass. This has a seasoned oak backplate and spring-loaded spindle.
Shaped backplate measures 200mm x 200mm approx.
Toilet roll holder measures 135mm wide (165mm at widest point) x 150mm high; Protrudes 100mm including backplate from the wall.
